Michael Wood on William Gass

I somehow missed that last week’s New York Review of Books included “The Far Side of Fiction,” a long piece by Michael Wood on William H. Gass’s A Temple of Texts and the new audio book for The Tunnel. The piece costs $3 to read, so I’ll hold off from quoting from it. It’s not the best review I’ve read of Gass’s work, but at 4,700 words, it’s certainly worth the money. For the record: I reviewed A Temple of Texts last April, and I’m nearly finished with my own take on The Tunnel audio book.
